Vidiots Foundation’s relaunch at the historic Eagle Theatre requires a $3 million capital campaign. Non-profit fundraising through a pandemic, supply-chain issues, and a recession require multiple campaigns that continue to engage the community. This campaign allows future video store patrons to sponsor a section of their favorite filmmaker or genre! I hand write (and occasionally draw) section tags for a personal touch that maximizes potential for social media posts and amplification by donors. I often utilize our Instagram stories and e-blasts to push new blasts, and the campaign steadily brings in new donors.

One of my favorite things about restoring a 100-year-old theater is that the seats are original! And in this campaign, Vidiots is able to offer donors a chance to name a seat for themselves or a loved one. There are some really heartwarming tributes, and the campaign has raised over $150k since launch.
